An Evening with George Attla
8/26/14 | Bob Eley
The Fairbanks Community/Dog Mushing Museum will reopen with the dog
mushing exhibit from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27 in the Empress
Theater, upstairs in the Co-Op Plaza at 535 Second
Avenue, Suite 215.
George Attla will be on hand and we will be showing the movie "Spirit of
the Wind" at 6:30 p.m. Two-time Open North American Champion Arleigh
Reynolds will join us as well as many other mushers.
We will be requesting a $5 donation as a fundraiser to help get the
entire museum open by the end of September. There will be a silent auction
and all proceeds from DVD sales of Spirit of the Wind will go to the museum.
Hope to see everyone there. Please spread the word by sharing this with
