This photo shows Cecil Houghton, with one of his "Borsky" dogs, "Winkum." He introduced the Borsky line of sled dogs in the early 80's. The Borsky dogs were part Borzoi (aka, Russian Wolfhound) mixed with Alaskan Husky, mostly from village lines. He is wearing a seal skin coat from Greenland, where he spent 2 tours of duty during WWII. top of page | home | feedback | search |
