Home Raquel A. Lundgren Rodrigues, 17, of 4920W U.S. Highway 2, Manistique, Michigan died June 24, 2011 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Germfask Township. She was born December 25, 1993 in Manistique the daughter of Alex and Barbara (Froze) Rodrigues and attended the Manistique Area Schools. Raquel was a member of the International Sled Dog Racing Association and the Great Lakes Racing Sled Dog Association. She formerly participated in the Manistique Youth Wrestling Program. She loved animals, especially her sled dogs. She enjoyed music, golfing, going to the beach and spending time with her friends. She is survived by her parents, Alex and Barbara Rodrigues of Manistique; brothers, Roberto Lundgren Rodrigues in the U.S. Navy at Oceana, VA and A J Lundgren Rodrigues of Manistique; maternal grandparents, Donald Froze of Niagara, WI and Joan Osterberg of Niagara, WI: paternal grandmother, Josita Lundgren Rodrigues of Brazil and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
