ADMA's International Sled Dog Symposium goes biannual

The Alaska Dog Mushers Association announces that the International Sled Dog Symposium will be held biannually starting in 2012.

There will be no symposium in 2011, and will from now on be held on even numbered years. After a 23 year run, we feel that this decision will help keep future symposia fresh and create an event not to be missed.

The International Sled Dog symposium has traditionally coincided with ADMA’s annual auction, our biggest fund-raising event of the year. We will continue working on the annual fund-raising auction and other fun events to keep our club a strong and vital part of the Fairbanks community and the mushing world.

A big thank you goes out to all of the volunteers and participants that have made past symposia a success and we hope to see you back at Pioneer Park on Oct. 12th – 14th, 2012.
