2012 La Grande Odyssée Registration Open

Registration for the 8th edition of La Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont Blanc has been open since July 15th. It will close on September 15th.

Information on LGO 2012:

• Length 745 km - 460 miles 10 stages - 11 days of racing, 14 dogs pool - 8 to 10 dogs on the line per stage.
• Guaranteed purse 100 000 $ (+ 14 000 $ on the Arctic Alps Cup).
• One stage a day. About 70 km per day (43 miles).
• About 2700 m (8800 feet) of ascent per day.
• The accommodation is offered by LGO and many meals also.
