We modified our quad with a platform at the back for the second person to stand on instead of both being seated on the quad. Works great for training youngsters - easy to hop off and correct something and hop back on again. There's a handlebar section attached to the top of the back rack for hanging on to.

Editors Note: Please be aware of the tendency of some ATVs to become unstable with extra weight in the rear.  Know your machine and how it responds to this type of load.
