Trail Groomers
These pictures are of a grooming "Pan" which I had built a while back on the advice of Steve Bergemann. ~click any photo for larger view~ The pan measures approx 42" X 42" and will hold a truck tire on the center post for some weight. While it has had limited use, there have been times when it is invaluable. Specifically when there is so much snow that the snow machine can't pull a groomer through it. The pan helps prepare the trail for the grooming equipment. If you have a large tracked puller it would not be required, but most of us have smaller snowmobiles, and it sure eases the stress on them. It also will smooth out soft ruts on a trail. It pulls very easily, even with the weight on. Art Stoller [back to Trail Groomers Index] top of page | home | feedback | search |
