Experience: We breed, raise and train Siberian Huskies. I have had the dog
sledding addiction for about 15 years now, and started recreationally with a strong lean
toward winter camping with my dogs. I do not claim to be an expert, but have picked up a
few things along the way...experience is a great teacher, but so are all of the wonderful
mushers I've met and gotten to know over the years. Several years ago, I started sprint
racing and last year Ted began racing too. I do want to get into mid-distance racing this
winter. I have had many, many years training and working with animals and it has always
been what I enjoy doing best. I have taught a couple of classes for beginning mushers,
stressing dog care and kennel management as well as the basics for dog sledding. Ted and I
also build dog sleds and enjoy helping and encouraging people entering this
"lifestyle".

Beargrease 150, and UP 200; several of our dogs finished Iditarod 2000. Tasha raises and
trains many of the puppies, and does a great deal of skijor racing. Tasha's teaching
career has provided us the opportunity to do many educational programs about mushing for
both children and adults. We would be delighted to share our knowledge about racing,
training, and effective sled dog programs with you.
