Quesnel Observer nets silver at 2020 Ma Murray Awards
A photo published in the Quesnel Cariboo Observer is now officially award winning.
Former editor Lindsay Chung’s photo from the 2020 Gold Rush Sled Dog Mail Run, titled the musher and the mail won silver in the sports photo award for papers with under 10,000 circulation.
The photo was featured on the front page of the Wednesday, Jan. 29 edition of the Quesnel Cariboo Observer.
The Ma Murray Awards celebrate the work of the 93 outlets making up the Community NewsMedia Association in B.C. and the Yukon. The award winners were honoured at a virtual ceremony on June 11.
