Beargrease fundraiser needs your cute dog photos
The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon wants the best photo of your dog for its "12 Dogs of Christmas" contest, according to a news release from the organization.
Submit the photo with your dog's name and age, along with a story about the photo if you have it. All ages and breeds will be accepted.
Submit entries by Friday, Dec. 18, at noon. Once photos are collected, online voting will determine the winners. The event is a fundraiser for the annual sled-dog race, and people will pay money to vote. The contest runs Dec. 21-Jan. 1, and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
