2020 ONAC CANCELLED
The Alaska Dog Mushers Association is announcing the cancellation of the 75th Anniversary Open North American Championship.
The organization had made many attempts to scale back this event to just drivers and limited volunteers based on recommendations from the CDC and the State of Alaska.
This decision to cancel is made in the best interest of the drivers committed to running this race. The tremendous health concerns have not been taken lightly and the recent border closure could threaten traveling teams from getting home. At this point we are unable to proceed with the race in a safe and responsible manner.
