2020 Kuskokwim 300 Date Announced
As sled dog fans and mushers wind down from the Iditarod, they can mark their calendar for one of next year's big mid-distance races.
The Kuskokwim 300 Race Committee has announced the date of the upcoming K300. The race will begin on January 17, 2020.
But mushers and fans might not have to wait until then for a good competition. A K300-sponsored race is tentatively scheduled for this Sunday, March 24 at 11 a.m. The trail for the 50-mile race has not been announced. Purses for local races total $20,000.
