Minimum 4 dogs/team. Maximum 6 dogs/team.
A late, small race is great for running puppies and letting the long-suffering handlers take a shot at the trail now that the big races have finished. The White Oak style has real benefit for training young dogs for the future. The "Big Dog" class includes Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, and similar northern breeds as determined by race judges prior to event. (see race rules for more "Big Dog" details) |
