Extraordinary double events related to the fascinating World of the Dryland Sleddog Sport in the weekend of 22-23 Sept. 2007, in the wonderful natural amphitheatre of the Fusine Lakes Plains at the feet of Mount Mangart, managed by Ararad and Monica Khatchikian in cooperation with the Italian Musher Sleddog Sport Federation ( F.I.M.S.S. ).

Hundreds of school students, teachers and visitors visited the Saturday’ Trade Fair and Meeting having also the chance to drive personally sleds pulled by four wheelers on the green fields surrounding the area. More than 60 teams entered the Sunday Dryland Race competing on the perfectly prepared 4 and 2 Km trails of the Fusine Plains. All the previous trail records have been broken by far.
