Conditions:

The 6th Annual Northland Lumber Dog Derby was a fantastic race on February 5 th, 2000.

The race was 25 miles long and the teams consisted of 6 dogs.
Partly cloudy skies, temperatures below zero C, and a flat {except for the 6-foot waterfall} but winding trail on the Whitefish River from Nolalu to Stanley, Ontario. This is near Thunder Bay, Ontario.
There were notable world-class racers at this event as well as great media support.
