Saturday: 6 dog teams ran in 36-40 degrees F, rain and slush. The Open was cancelled for the day.
All of Sunday's heats were cancelled.

The anticipated snow which was supposed to follow the rain never came, but the cold temperatures did. The result was nothing but ice. Kudos to race organizer Claude Bellerive, who paid out the full 6-dog purse and then divided the Open purse equally among all the teams who came.
