What is a SDC Full Page Display
Ad?
Display ads are placed on their own page(s) within Sled Dog Central, linked
from one of the pages listed on the left side or from the Classified Ad Index.
Display ads are identified in the Classified Ad indexes with a special clickable
"thumbnail" graphic.
Your ad can contain anything you find on a typical web page
including text, graphics, links and ordering forms. Special rates are available for ads of
more than five pages, such as online catalogs. Look at this sample of a display
ad.

Display ads include one free mini banner link to
your ad.
A page is equal to approximately three computer screens
at 800 x 600.
Prices include four advertiser provided "web
ready" photos or graphics per page. Additional GIFs or JPEGs incur a charge of
$5.00 each.
Original photos or art that require scanning are billed
at $5.00 per scan.
No charge for stock clipart and graphics.
Ads requiring extensive
development time incur a design fee of $25.00 per hour.
What do you provide?
You provide the text and photos and we'll do the rest! Prices include normal
ad layout and HTML programming. [See above note regarding extensive
development time]
Web Ready Graphics
- Please provide your graphics in JPEG or GIF format as an attachment to an
e-mail.
Hard Copy Graphics
- Original photos or art that require scanning are billed at $5.00 per
scan.
- Material sent by postal mail will be returned.

You may place your Display Ad by e-mail or postal mail.

Minimum Run:
The minimum run for your display ad is determined by the ad rate you choose from the Rate and Run Schedule at the time you place your ad. Ad copy
cannot be changed within that time without additional charges. You may cancel
your ad at any time, but no refunds will be made for ads canceled early.
Payment for Display Ads:
Payment must be received before your display ad will be placed on Sled Dog
Central.
